Peer Reviews of Jason's Music
On Jason's live performance:
Everyone really enjoyed Jason's perfromance. I especially like
the fact that he goes on stage with a very positive and professional
performance and is able to connect with the audience from the stage.

On the American
Road album:
Lyrics that say something, music that rocks. How could you ask
for more!!
This kind of music makes you want to grab your guitar, run down
to your local club, jump on stage and start jamming.
When I was younger they called this kind of music Blue Collar
rock which meant music by, for and about working people. (Bob
Seger was big on this.) I call it straight forward rock n' roll.
Opening up with the title track American Road Jason
Didner takes you through the excitement, frustrations and romance
of life we are all accustomed to. Rolling right into A Day
in my Cave, Jason says something we all feel like saying once
in a while - leave me alone. If you're not dancing by the end of
this song there's something wrong with you.
Jason fills this album with those guitar oriented rock jams and
ballads we hear too little of on radio these days.
When I was cutting my musical teeth with my good friend Jim Swanson,
(who later worked with me on most of my music) I tried to envision
the kind of band I wanted to create. If I was aware of Jason Didner
at the time I would've dragged my friend down to wherever Jason
was playing and said "that's the kind of band I want to put
together."
May there be many more albums from where this came from.

On the song A
Day in my Cave:
You've got a great rock voice, and I really like the guitar riff
on ''A Day in my Cave''! Your music sounds very together...vocal
style, guitar sound, production, lyrics. It's tight.

On the song American
Road:
A song for the masses!!!
Jason has taken yet another page from the "Anthem Rock"
book, blending a well-structured composition with poignant lyrics,
a catchy chorus, and searing lead guitar work. His unique vocal
style is full of heart and soul as he strives to get his message
across.
The lyrics perfectly describe the traffic jam that occurs everyday
on the highway to the "American Dream", as it meanders
through middle-class America, where all the rest stops and scenic
overlooks are reserved solely for those who don't need them. The
musical progressions only add to the ferver and urgency of this
song.
Presidential candidates take note.
Technical/Mix Observations:
Good overall mix... all instruments and the vocals are clear (except
at the end/outro... you're saying something but I can't quite make
it out).
Like how you kept the guitar sustained out of the solo.

On the song It's
About Time
“ It's About Time was my introduction to the talented songwriting
of Jason Didner and it is an upbeat mainly acoustic number with
some keyboards and percussion driving it along...not that it needs
anything to drive it because Jason's voice has a passion and a sense
of freedom in it that holds your attention! The song lyrics are
interesting and are about making changes and re-evaluating things
in our lives because there is always room for personal improvement
and reflection. A very positive feel to this track so maybe 'It's
About Time' I checked out some more of Jason's songs!”

On the song Glass
Half Full:
Let's face it, the world of music has been put through some drastic
changes in the past decade, and it is a wonderful thing to find
an artist so down to Earth such as Jason Didner . Here you have
a musician / singer / songwriter who plays with everlasting conviction
and honesty. Writing songs about everyday life of the common man,
his struggles, emotions and opinions. " Glass
Half Full " is no exception. A catchy acoustic number with a
bongo beat and lyrical melody that will surely have you singing
this one all day long. Positive and uplifting, his words will brighten
your darkest day. Great wholesome American folk/rock doesn't get
any purer than this. Do yourself a favor and check out Jason Didner's
music.
